[FLN – Updates] – Exciting Plans for 2021

Greetings Everyone and welcome to the beginning of 2021.

If nothing else, 2021 is a different year and promises to bring forth some interesting and exciting developments.

Now that 2020 is behind us, we can look forward to some great times and adventures for this coming year. We all hope and look forward to the days in 2021 when we can emerge from this extended scenario, and start doing things that we have not done since March of 2020.

Based on what we know right now, the future looks bright.

Each month, and each quarter, there will be more developments, and hopefully that all lead to the beginning of many great things to come.

Meanwhile, even though this scenario is longer than most of us expected, it has been great to see that so many [FLN – Members] are connecting and reconnecting on a regular basis.

As we have seen many times, Attorneys and professionals are on the “front-lines” of many economic issues that affect individuals and businesses, and it’s great to see that despite these unique times, so many [FLN – Members] were able to build, grow and develop their business during a very unique time in history.

As we have seen numerous times, staying connected with fellow friends, colleagues, and referral sources is not only important professionally, but personally as well.

On that note… Here are some important details to be aware of:

When will we go back to live FLN Chapter Meetings?

-That all depends. (We all know that is the best lawyer answer)

It will be based on the following factors:

Venues – when venues are ready, willing, and able to take on larger groups for meetings then we will have a better idea. Right now some places have started hosting smaller lunch meetings with only 4 per table, but time will tell on when and how they will be ready for regular groups to gather for lunches.

Vaccines – Undoubtedly, as Vaccinations become more available more people will be able to congregate without as many health concerns and that will also indicate when we can resume “live” gatherings in larger groups.

Home Test Kits – Several months ago, the FDA had approved some home testing kits, but until more products emerge and the price is reduced, we really will not know how this will impact the current health concerns.

The bottom line is we will know it when we see it…..

It may not be easy to describe or predict, but it will become clearer as progress becomes inevitable.

[FLN – Power Lunches] (Live or Virtual) – Update as of 01/25/21:

Additionally, for those of you that are ready, willing, and able to participate in “Live” Power Lunches with 4 or fewer people – please raise your hand and we will group you with others that are looking for a similar experience.

Henceforth, and until we have newer developments, the [FLN – Live Power Lunches] will be in addition to the [FLN – Virtual Power Lunches] not instead of.

This way you can still connect with many of the [FLN – Members] in a Virtual Power Lunch, and for those of you that are ready, willing, and able to connect in person you can do that also.

Otherwise, we would potentially have a limited number of people attending a live [FLN – Power Lunch], and they would not get a chance to connect with lots of other members in the Chapter as well.

So until further announcements are made, all [FLN – Power Lunches] will be virtual, and we will also add (not remove) live power lunches as well.

Mark Your Calendars:

Looking ahead for the [FLN – Calendar] for 2021 – start marking your calendar for the following ‘live” FLN Events in 2021:

December 2021 – Holiday Parties – since we did not get a chance to captivate and celebrate in 2020, we are planning to have 3 FLN – Holiday Parties in 2021.

Here are the dates that you can start to mark on your calendars:

FLN – Holiday Party – Palm Beach County area – Tuesday, December 7, 2021 – 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

FLN – Holiday Party – Broward County area – Wednesday, December 8, 2021 – 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

FLN – Holiday Party – Miami-Dade County area – Thursday, December 9, 2021 – 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

All FLN – Members in all FLN – Chapters will be invited and welcome to attend all events, but obviously proximity will determine how many folks from each Chapter are able to attend.

October 2021 – FLN – Annual Meeting:

-If all goes as planned, starting in October of 2021, FLN will host an annual meeting for all FLN Members in all FLN Chapters to attend. Currently, the dates and times for this event will be the 2^nd weekend of October 2021. As details develop announcements will be made but make sure to mark your calendars “early and often.”

Ideally, we are also looking to coordinate some [FLN – Weekend Retreats] in 2021, to socialize and captivate, while still incorporating some great topics on Technology, Goal Setting, Marketing, etc…

No matter what happens – 2021 will definitely have lots of great and exciting things, and we are looking forward to those adventures sooner than later.
