Greetings Everyone:
For those of you just tuning in…
Lots of events around town are being canceled from the health advisory and concerns of the “Coronavirus.”
It’s a wild and wacky adventure, and it seems to have new cancellations, and developments each and every day. From NBA games to Concerts, to Nursing homes, to Colleges, it seems everything is getting canceled, modified, or rescheduled.
Regardless of where we are in the cycle of this virus, it will definitely inconvenience all of us for the foreseeable future.
While we continue to gather details and information about this new adventure, FLN has a made an official decision to cancel [FLN – Chapter Meetings] for the next few weeks, and we can reassess the strategy towards the end of March 2020.
That means rather than having nominal attendance at [FLN – Chapter Meetings] for the remainder of March, we are going to cancel the upcoming Chapter meeting for March 2020, then monitor the situation closely, and learn what develops.
Obviously, we are all looking forward to a more relaxed predictable environment, but in the meantime, giving ourselves some space from group events is hopefully a good start in reducing concerns and hesitation.
In the meantime, for small group gatherings like the [FLN – Power Lunches] or individual meetings, you can use your own judgment and discretion on coordinating, hosting, attending, networking, etc…
Obviously, you must use your own discretion any time you decide to leave your home, so that part is up to each and every individual.
During this hiatus over the next few weeks, it will give everyone a chance to work on your business plans, marketing plans, networking plans, and budgets.
Plus, you can also binge-watch Netflix when the opportunity arises.
So……
Unless you hear otherwise…
As of Thursday, March 12, 2020 – here is the official update from the [FLN – Headquarters]:
[FLN – Chapter Meetings] through the remainder of March 2020 are currently canceled, and we will continue to monitor the situation very carefully and will provide details and updates as they become available.
Meanwhile, you can still use emails, phones, WhatsApp, etc… to connect and reconnect with fellow [FLN – Members], and this is a great time to work on your social media campaign as well.
As always, I sincerely look forward to connecting with you sooner than later.
Regards,
-Mo N. ElDeiry, Esquire
